About
A nurse built this.
I’m Brandy, APRN, ANCC-BC, MSN. I’ve spent more than twenty years in emergency departments, most of it at a level one trauma center. I started as a nursing assistant while I was still in nursing school, went to RN, and worked my way to APRN. Along the way I picked up care management experience too.
These days I practice transitional care management by telehealth. That’s where multi-state licensure stopped being someone else’s problem and became mine. To see patients across state lines I needed licences in several states, and the process was cumbersome and confusing in a way that had nothing to do with whether I was any good at my job. Different rules, different renewal cycles, different mandated topics, different everything — and nowhere that simply told me what I actually needed.
I built Currendo because I wanted that place to exist.
Every continuing education requirement on this site was read from the issuing board’s own published rules and cited back to them, and every page shows the date it was last checked. Not scraped, not summarized from somebody’s blog. That’s the part I couldn’t find anywhere, and it’s the part I care most about getting right.
I’m a real nurse with real experience, and I built this for other nurses.
