Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Currendo (the “Service”), operated by Currendo LLC (“we”), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service. Currendo holds sensitive professional information, so we try to collect only what the Service needs to work for you.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and optionally your first and last name, profile photo, and professional profile (provider type, specialty, practice setting, years of experience, and telehealth/multi-state practice indicators). Note: profile photos are served from a storage location readable by anyone who has the photo’s URL, and appear in portfolios you share.

Credential information you enter: license numbers, states, issue and expiration dates, continuing-education hours, certifications, registrations, malpractice policy details, notes, and any documents you upload.

Sharing information: when you share your portfolio or a credential, we store the recipient name, email, and organization you enter, and we log access events (views, downloads, and prints of shared content) so you can see share activity.

Feedback: if you submit product feedback, we collect your message, an optional screenshot you attach, and technical context (browser, operating system, device type, and screen size) to help us reproduce issues.

Security information: if you enable two-factor authentication, the associated authenticator settings; and device information needed to deliver push notifications you opt into.

Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details directly. We do not receive or store full card numbers — only a customer identifier and your subscription status.

Technical information: limited logs and error reports generated as you use the Service, used to keep it working and secure.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide the Service: to store and display your credentials, to send renewal reminders you request, to authenticate you, to process payments for paid plans, and to diagnose and fix problems. When you use the certificate auto-read feature, the image or PDF you upload is sent to our AI provider to suggest field values, which you then review and confirm before anything is saved. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded credential documents to train AI models. Public pages may use privacy-respecting, anonymous usage analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers).

2a. When you share

Sharing is always your choice. When you share a portfolio or credential, the recipient can see exactly the records, files, and summaries you selected — through a read-only link that expires and that you can revoke, or in a PDF or email you send. Once a PDF or email leaves the Service, we cannot revoke it. If you connect with an organization (for example, an employer), its workspace members can see your name, email, license and certification status, and continuing-education progress — never your uploaded files, license numbers, or notes — until you disconnect, which you can do at any time from Settings.

3. Service providers (subprocessors)

We rely on a small set of vendors to run the Service, each of which processes data only as needed to provide their function:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Stripe — payment processing for paid plans
  • Anthropic — AI processing for the optional certificate auto-read feature
  • Resend — sending account and system emails
  • Sentry — error monitoring

4. Security

Your data is isolated per account through database access controls, uploaded documents are stored in a private (non-public) storage bucket, and all traffic uses HTTPS. Two-factor authentication is available on your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can export your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your credential records and uploaded documents from the Service; some records may persist briefly in backups or be retained where required by law (for example, payment records).

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Many of these are available directly in Settings; for others, contact us at hello@currendo.com. The Service is intended for users in the United States and is not directed to children under 18.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be communicated through the Service. The “effective date” above indicates when this version took effect.

8. Contact

Questions about this Policy or your data: hello@currendo.com, or by mail: Currendo LLC, 212 Wescliff Dr., Ocoee, FL 34761.
